"....you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."; Romans 8: 15.
Abba is an Aramaic word for Father, that connotes a close relation of personal intimacy. Expressing warm affection and the confidence of a privileged child, "Abba Father" has no perfect equivalent in English. It was used by Christ Jesus to refer to God the Father when He was teaching His followers how to pray, saying in essence : "...when you pray, say Abba" (Matthew 6:9).
Featuring a slender ID tag paired with a byzantine-link chain strap, this stylish bracelet expresses - with an awareness of the privilege it is to be in a close, loving relationship with God - the trustingly intimate Name we get to call Father God, the lover of our souls.
SAMPLE PRAYER: Lord Jesus, you said that when we pray, we should say 'Abba', so Father God - Abba Father - I now proudly, and gratefully call Your Name. Emboldened by the privilege of being your loved child, lead me to tell of this gift that is by faith, for always. Abba Father, Daddy Lord - incredible it is that You, know and care about little me. I will believe and trust Your love. I trust unlike human parents, You are perfect and pure in Your love. I revel in the joy of being Your favored child. I love you Abba Father. In Jesus Name, Amen.
